  • is the US teh only target of terrorist attacks??

at least one Poly regular seems to think so

    this is what he posted
"The US is who is threatened with massive terrorist attacks the others (israel aside) are not

all targets in africa asia are for americans/ australians

youre alone and the serious target of attacks.

    simple"

Leaving aside the logical issue of americans being alone if Aussie and israelis are also targets, do you think this is true. Do Non-yanks here (other than aussies and israelis) feel safe (wrt to terror)?? Do you think no terror attacks are targeted on your soil - or that such that are targeted are directed only against US (or aussie or israeli) targets????
    are we alone?????

Let's see... Terror cells busted in... Spain, France, Italy, Germany... Yep, the Americans are alone.

terrorist busts do not mean trheat on one's soil

actually US is very much like Israel on this.

Palestinians fight for their freedom against an oppresive gov

(15 people killed in Gaza last week, 1 of them a child of 4 years old)

Th EU (UK aside) simply has no reason to be as paranoid as the US and Israel is.
                Sorry.

Of course Europe is in the target scopes of al-Qaida and other assorted terror groups. They're not breaking up terror cells there for the sheer joy of it all, y'know. I hope they get them all, because if they don't, they *will* experience a Sept. 11, 2001, type of attack.

Stop being obtuse, Paiktis. As you should well know, any society that does not conform to the views of al-Qaida and its associated groups is a target. All it is is a matter of time, nothing more. So you'd best hope the law enforcement agencies in Europe keep doing a good job in regard to the terror cells, or you might find yourself face up on your backside one day, shrapnel sticking out of you at grotesque angles. Or dying some other sort of death.

The US will recieve the first and the biggest terrorist attacks, but Europe will get its fair share of terror as well. European countries might limit the terror they get with their slightly pro-arabic policies, which channel the Arabs' hate against Israel and the US first.

Ok, now its US, Israel, Australia and the UK.

We're alone. (never mind about the arithmetic)

Paiktis- the next time you have to take off the subway because of a terrorist threat in ATHENS, ring a bell
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.
