hey uber! i actually KNOW what that is..someone told me to go get that penguin before...i dunno..he seems a little un me..don't ya think???
here is my 'ol dog....13 years old!! i've had her since i was 7 when mom had my brother..she got the dog too. lol! but i think she's so pretty.

and this is a shot of the setting sun that my little sister (i was impressed!!!!) took out at my great aunt's farm.....it's sad because she and my uncle leeroy (who is slowly dying, btw: he's been having strokes and aneurisms since 89 and is now trapped in his body...i won't be but a month or two more i fear...but of course..everyone said that back in 89.....

)have lived out there forever and a day...but they've only rented it and the sons of the previous owner want to kick them out. i know the house is falling apart at the seams..but...it's their HOME. enough of my ranting....enjoy the sunset.

since i let on about my uncle leeroy, here is a picture of him at thanksgiving..before his last stroke that left him completely conscious but not able to move or speak. It saddens me because i just found out that he's wanted to die since 89....he told everyone "why the hell did you just let me die?"......i can only imagine what it must feel like to not be able to do what you would like to do and just watch everything fall away.
that's my aunt doris behind him and prolly my great grandma behind me...92 and still kicking. at least that is one good thing.

devilmunchkin - my grandfather had a stroke which robbed him of most of his ability to read, we all tried to help him get it back...
he died a couple of years ago.
My other grandfather is extremely tough and in good shape - he's had an aneurism but it didn't affect him as much as it would have a lesser man. He doesn't go for his long walks like he used to but by no means is he homebound. We are all really happy about that.
Sorry to hear about your uncle.
