IF politicians confronted the oil issue more the perception would change.

      Doesn't matter what Bush says,

We need to see hard evidence that Iraq is breaking
agreements made when we left Iraq 10 years ago.
We havn't see it, We didn't see it when this started.
We sent troops to Afgan. on the basis of evidence.
Prove your case and we'll be in, but we don't invade
other countries without a solid Cacus Belli.

Hi There, I think the Good People of America are a great example to the World. I applaud your great country in it's bravery against Terrorism. Glad England can help.
As for the Oil, we should divide it up between ourselfes, say 80% for your lot, and 20% for us - Screw the rest of the cowardly world.
          Cheers

I disagree, DaShi. Clinton was one hell of a diplomat, as smooth-talking is the key skill needed. However, Clinton wasn't a very good leader. You need a spine to be a leader, something which diplomats are notoriously lacking in...

Yeah, but he never said anything that he meant. He just made people happy and pretended to do stuff. He certainly shouldn't be praised by people outside of the US. THen they just look like they were taken in by him, which makes baby Jesus sad.

Bush appeared to me to be rather like Metternich in a different field- desperately papering over the all too evident cracks.

Really, Saddam and Osama gettin' cozy together?

How about the Saudi Arabian/Al Qaeda links? Oh, no wait, that wonderful democratic regime is our ally, and besides, buys our weapons, and sells us oil....

                                3/10, George, must try harder.
