does music from the 70s have any worth?

there sure was a lot of crap music in the 70s, particularly a lot of disco towards the late 70s. But i think there were two bands that help me have faith in music from the 70s...

led zeppelin the greatest hard rock band of all time and earth wind and fire.

both bands played very different music but exhibit so much quality its almost a shame there arent bands like this today.

As a general rule the 1970's can be thought of as the anus of time. Nothing but crap came out of it.

Well, the early 70's still had some decent rock coming from it. And Paul Simon stayed active, too (when did Graceland come out?). But good music seemed to die until the Ambient Music showed up later...

All the great 60's bands were still cranking it out in the 70's, and their work inspired others to greatness. The stuff now just sucks...
