"Spirit merges with matter to sanctify the universe. Matter transcends to return to spirit. The interchangeability of matter and spirit means the starlit magic of the outermost life of our universe becomes the soul-light magic of the innermost life of our self." - Dennis Kucinich, candidate for the U. S. presidency
"That’s the future of the Democratic Party: providing Republicans with a number of cute (but not that bright) comfort women." - Adam Yoshida, Canada's gift to the world

Funny part is that they've got more stuff to add.

I think their real beef is with Nokia, though.

          edit: spelling

A guy who got kicked out of Nokia and is working for Microsoft is working off his anger and bitterness at Finland, is what I've heard. He's supposedly convinced how "Microsoft will beat Nokia" when it comes to mobile phones...
Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all!

Just goes to show you, no matter how pathetic your life is, there's always someone even worse to make you feel good.

                  What a sad guy
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

National symbol of Finland, that is used on cars registered in Finland is nowadays "FIN" - first three letters of name of the country "Finland". But on some older cards in Finland you can notice letters "SF" that has been abolished however. Why? Because people thought that it means "Soviet Finland" and the original meaning "Suomi Finland" was lost.
I was wondering about that hmm. When did they change it btw? I thought it was after the fall of the SU anyway

It's all true! Except this bit: "Finnish is actually an Asian language, not an indo-European language like most of languages used in Europe."

Er... Indo-European Languages? Those Indo European Languages? That all originate from bloody Sanskrit and stuff?

Er... Finno-Ugric Languages? Those Finno-Ugric Languages? That according to recent research were in fact spoken in most of eastern and northern europe before the indo-europeans arrived? And even before the (admittedly debatable) symbolic and craft-based links between Cro-Magnon man and later Finno-Ugric culture was considered from partially inside and partially outside europe, clustered on both sides of the Ural mountains?
