        Yes, extremely annoying. Firstly, it helps nothing cause you can copy all material anyway by clicking "print screen" button. Secondly, it removes many useful functions, like opening in new window. Totally useless thing and thus annoying.

          It doesn't remove any function, just inconveniences you.

            It is another doomed attempt by the establishment to try to stop technology from progressing. Just take a screenie and then photo shop it.

              Assuming ie:

              Tools -> Internet Options -> Security
              Select Internet and then Custom Level.

              Right down the bottom there is a option called "Active scripting". Set that to disabled, apply. Reload the page, and ie will now ignore any script that prevents you from right-clicking.

              If you want to open the link in a new window, just hold down shift and left-click the link.
              I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

                  I'm sure the Proxomitron can handle it, at least with a few additional filters.

                        you can do the following too:

                        1. View -> Source
                        2. Find the JavaScript responsible for deleting the right button function
                        3. Save As new file.
                        4. Open the new file instead.

                        Or just use any javascript blocker.

                          If you disable active scripting, it will also eliminate auto-updating and pop-ups.

                          It's all good!
                          No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

                            Or you could try clicking on the link, and quickly moving your move left or right and right clicking. I've done it plenty of times to get rid of such scriptrss.
