  • Last book, CD, game you bought

I couldn't decide of whether it's better to ask for last CD or last book, so I put both in one poll, and threw games in for good measure.

Last CD: Psychopharmacology, by Firewater. I'm listening to it right now. It's great. Everyone must buy it. GO BUY IT!

Last book: Carnage and Culture, by Victor Davis Hanson. It's interesting, though I think Hanson's conclusions are ever so slightly off. I'm currently about halfway - slowened by also being in the middle of China Mieville's Perdido Street Station, which was the second-last book I bought.

Last game: I don't think I've bought games for a while. My god, it might even be... Civilization 3.
"Spirit merges with matter to sanctify the universe. Matter transcends to return to spirit. The interchangeability of matter and spirit means the starlit magic of the outermost life of our universe becomes the soul-light magic of the innermost life of our self." - Dennis Kucinich, candidate for the U. S. presidency
"That’s the future of the Democratic Party: providing Republicans with a number of cute (but not that bright) comfort women." - Adam Yoshida, Canada's gift to the world

Last CD: Time (The Revelator) by Gillian Welch

Last Book: Oh god, this really awfully translated trash book at an airport. I can't even remember it's name, I gave it up after one chapter.

Last Game: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, finally out on budget.

      CD- Vivaldi, L'estro armonico
Book- a DDR photographic book found in a romanian bookstore, 2 months ago
Game- it's indeed civ3! How working class
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

Quite possibly the worst book title I've ever seen.

Last book: hell, I don't know. I'm not counting books for med school here. Probably the last book I bought for pleasure was Silence of the Lambs, but the last book I read (just finished yesterday, for the first time) was Lord of the Rings, borrowed from a friend.

Last CD: Who's Next, by The Who. Today's music sucks.

Last game: Finally caved and bought PTW with some Xmas money. AI seems improved. SMAC is still at least thrice as good.
