  • Better than Boris' thread... make your own mix!

Bah Boris, why take an album if you can make your own mix!

List approximately 15 - 18 songs you might want to take with you. Make sure it fits approximately into one CD. (about 15 - 18). If your considering to take 9th symphony 4th movement, take the length of that piece into account yourself.

311 is a great band, I'd choose "I'll be here awhile" from teh album From Chaos altho I like flowing. I have a habit of listening to that song when I am waiting for the bus or something.

Weezer's "The world has turned and left me here" would be a great lyric for my situation too ...

Anyone willing to take Chuck Magione's Feel so good? It really is a great trumpet song that gets you up for a bright day. And Im guessing if im in a desert island i could use some of my pep-up music

I can't be bothered to look up song lengths, but here are 15 tracks I'd take along, not in a compilation-friendly order but just randomly:

                        Hospital by The Modern Lovers
                        Waterloo Sunset by The Kinks
                        Rocksteady by Alton Ellis
Get Ur Freak On by Missy Elliott
                        Try Again by Aaliyah
Nu Kan Du Få Mig Så Lätt by Håkan Hellström
                        Do-Re-Mi by The Mighty Vikings
                        Lady Stardust by David Bowie
                        Autobahn (single version) by Kraftwerk
                        T.V. Eye by The Stooges
