I estimate that, of U.S. cities, L.A. is probably the number three target after Washington DC and New York. So, depending on how "out of hand" things got, I might think about moving into Frozzy's spare room.

I guess the problem is to determine when the line will be crossed right ? When is Israel going to be attacked with nukes ?
Don't you feel it's just a matter of time ?
erm, If israel is going to be attacked with nukes, I don't think that I'll be making any decisions. I'll die an excruciating death from rad-poisoning.

          But I don't think it's a "matter of time".

"a matter of time" is a weird concept. don't you know that analysts expect a tenfold decrease of human population in then next 100 years, most of it, in the developing world?

I can't foresee the war coming to a point where it would endanger people in the United States. Still, if I felt my life was threatened by remaining in the U.S., yes, I would leave. If I felt the government was becoming far too much of a totalitarian dictatorship, I'd be inclined to relocate as well. I'm not going to forsake my life and well-being for a silly notion that my possessions and location are somehow worth dying or suffering over.

i probably wouldn't move... i'm far enough away from NYC to get any real problems... unless they started contaminating the ground water with a really large supply of something.

if i had to run for some reason, i'd run to america jr.

If war really gets out of hand, it would be Arabs and Moslems in general who get moved to some unpleasant locations. And the rest of us must put up with totalitarian governments.

I feel pretty safe. Norway is the safest Norwegian-speaking country in the world right now, IMO.

Well-- since I already live in Canada where would I go ?? The only thing that would make any kind of sense is if I feared a terrorist attack in the city and went out into the country I guess. But my plan is to stay put whether there are conflicts involving Iraq, North Korea or Finland

No, because this time's winners are the totalitarian governments.

yup-- they ship their military thousands of miles only to come here and get stuck in the snow. I doubt their tanks have antifreeze

                            Newsflash

Units of the first Canadian sledoggers captured an Iraqi tank today and pressed it into service with Canadian forces. This action doubles canadian armored forces but a spokesman confirmed that Canadian troops were under orders to continue their tactics of luring tanks and troops and tanks unto weak lake before cracking it beneath them
