What's your "strange" drink?

My very, very simple substitute for coffee (which I, for some completely ununderstandable reason, do not drink): Drop a teabag in a cup of boiling hot water. Ignore completely (or, even better, keep on moving up and down) for half an hour, or until relatively cold. Drink. Try to not spill the drink as it zaps you. Well, at least it zaps me - but I haven't tortured my taste buds with anything very strong in my life yet anyway...

Hmmmm, while on the subject of beer, anyone have any beer buying recommendations (more dark more better), since I'm currently tragically sick of guiness and my cheap beer supplies are running low
