  • Recommend Violin Music

Anyone know of any particular bands or groups that use primarily violins or electric violins? I'm looking for the more powerful breed of this kind of music, not the high pitched squeely fancy expensive restaraunt violin songs.

    Any suggestions?

      What's a violin?

I don't know what apocalyptica uses, but I like it

Ashley MacIsaac uses a violin/fiddle...you may like it and you may hate it.

        He's a weird guy.

One of my friends, who's played Violin and Fiddle for literally 10 years now, says MacIsaac's stuff is great.

I'll keep my ears pricked I think.

MacIsaac is gay, Boris, and about your age.

                    Go for him!

Joshua Bell is a better violinist who is also about my age and far cuter.

But does he get up on stage, curse out the audience, then promptly leave after a 5 minute performance?

                              Apocalyptica uses a cello, IIRC.
