Oh, there's a shock. That's like Fez coming into a thread and saying he feels like making baseless assertions.

Boris, I meant is that what the numbers in your closed thread referred to? Just wanted to see if I solved the puzzle that everyone else thought was a splooge thread.

This thread reminds me of a limerick

The was a young man from Sparta,
Who was ever such a good farter.
On the strength of one bean,
He'd fart God Save The Queen,
                    And Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata

A few years back, there was a 6 CD collection of all 33 of Beethoven's piano sonatas by Wilhelm Kempff.

Very nice to see the entire range presented by one performer, so that you could really focus on the range of Beethoven's compositions.

                              No you didn't, GP.

MtG--speaking of complete piano collections, there is a fantastic set on CD of Julius Katchen doing the complete solo piano works of Brahms. Probably the overall best interpretations of those works I've heard.

all this is so easy round here

the newspapers made offers and a friend of mine got the entire works of betoven bach and some others completely free (with the correct amount of coupons) and i'll start copying them with my cd burner very soon.

they are from the philarmonic orchestra of berlin or something. i hope they're good and not some cheap shots.

i once got a tape with vivaldi's 4 seasons dirt cheap and the execution was crap.
