I think the USSR during (and just after) WW2 would be worse than Germany during WW2, they lost a far greater number of people.

The Soviet Union and Third Reich would have me killed for being gay, Cambodia for being at university. Since I end up dead in all of them, I'd say they were all equally bad.

As usual Boddington's logic escapes me. As a university student you'd think he'd find Cambodia the worst, but of course he chooses Cuba...

Your comment on Germany not being too bad is sickening.

Why don't we stick you in a concentration camp?

Russia 1917-1922 wasn´t all that bad

Well as long as you're not a kulak or living in any rural area or a bad habit of thinking for yourself I think it would be a walk in the park.

                Maybe something for Boddingtons.

With nationality only (belgian) it would be Rwanda, 1994-1999.

With nationality and religion (belgian protestant) it would be: Spanish Low Countries during Duke of Alba's governorship 1567-1573
... in 1567 he was appointed governor-general of the Low Countries. There, his arrogance, tyranny, and merciless suppression of civil and religious opposition were so extreme that even his employers found his cruelty unacceptable.

MtG: I find this offensive. Red jon is quickly becoming a troublemaker.

I'll go with Cambodia as well. I'm college educated and wear glasses.

The question is where would you least like to live, not least like to die.
