  • Are You Ready for some Football - Playoffs Week One

A couple of good match ups today.
Can the Jets stay on a roll...
Does Atlanta have a chance on the Frozen Tundra AT NIGHT.

After last nights College Championship game, can any of these games be exciting...

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL
    Keep on Civin'
RIP rah, Tony Bogey & Baron O

Atlanta is toast. The packers are something like some Ungodly number wins and 0 losses when the temperature drops below 32 degrees.

Hell, detroit hasn't even won there in 13 years.

Last night's game was, I won't say best, but I will say top 5, Bowl games I've seen.

Agreed about the bowl game. I'm glad the Big Ten finally showed up when it counted.

Congratulations on snagging Parcells, BTW. We'll be enjoying yet another year under the M and M regime.

Thanks, and I'm surprised the Lions didn't make changes, too. Really surprised.

I hear Testeverde is Dallas bound, good luck with that.

Kinda questionable officiating in that OT, OS seem to get a break on that PI.

I like the Favs today, Jets and Pack.

                J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS!

Though I hear Pennington has never faced a Cover-2 in the pros, which is what Indy runs. It'll be interesting to see the reaction to that.

Testaverde to Dallas? Have heard nothing of that yet.
If so, my days as a Cowboys fan ends. I'm serious.
Warner ? Fine. Griese? Fine. Not a wornout old color-blind wop named Testaverde.
Of course, I say this with all due respect.

I'm rooting for the Jets, Falcons, Browns and I'm neutral on the Giants / 49ers game. Don't like most of the teams in the playoffs though. Curses!

And the Jets score the first points of this years Play Offs.

                      7 - 0 ... Jet's over Indy.

Jets up 17-0. Indy is looking bad... and they've slipped a lot on the turf. Apparently it's been raining for 2 weeks straight in Jersey.

While he may never have faced it in a game, Herman Edwards is a Tony Dungy disciple and the Jets use a version of the Cover-2, so Pennington should have plety of experience with it in practice.
