Without a doubt, social forces that exist now definitley are part of the cause.

Problem with this pic is that I find her face to be absolutely enticing - it's not as shallow as most who suffer. What if she just had slightly rounded facial features which were motivating her to change, despite the cost to the body?

It's probably because she's got botox injections.

Of course, and that offers up whether or not it really is a disease. Can it be taken as that when there is nothing genetic or "poison" source aquired? Too much sugar may cause diabtes, and that is a disease - but are we saying that too many billboards, and fashion culture are the poison source of this raw human condition? It seems rather subjective, especially in that this human condition emerges so briefly on the timeline of man

I see this as a problem with alot of girls, they only look at their face only, and it looks loose and chubby to them, even if they have really nice bodies. So they think that by starving themselves that it will change their facial features.

Well semantically whether it is a disease or not, it is certainly a problem. The poison you are referring to in this case comes from external factors that often times are so subtle that we aren't even aware they are playing over and over in our heads until we actually stop and listen and realize that we are being bombarded with images of waifish women.

She passes IMO, a different camera angle might show otherwise

I had some responses about this in another thread. What was the other thread that was talking about anorexia?

It's another one of those subjects that women blame men for- that obviously I don't agree with.

Yeah I agree she looks okay.

Sometimes it's hard to tell though because of the heavy eye makeup, and the hair is professionally done. Usually the hair is the easy tip off.

#3 is just on the thin side. She is definitely under weight but I doubt she has a serious eatting disorder.

#3 is missing two very important fat areas.

When you say your parents are critical of you, do you mean they are critical of your weight? Do they say you are too thin?

That's really messed up, your parents are the #1 place where you get your esteem from. Have you told them to quit criticizing you or are they the type that you can't say something like that to?
Well the typical comments range from:
"blabla get some meat on those bones" (with an added smile
"You're like a fragile creature, I can feel your heart tremble when I hug you"

                          To:
"Nutrition is really important. There's all sorts of good supplements and stuff if you're on the run..."
                          "We're worried about you..."
                          (2 part)
"No mother, I'm actually bulemic - haven't you noticed how unnaturally white my teeth are lately?"
"Oh, I know - I've heard you in there a few times late at night. I'm not joking (smile)" - Responding to my sarcastic remark (jokingly?)

So you are stuffing your face but unable to put on weight?

Or are the meds just like make you not wanting to eat?

#4 Sorry they're all fashion oriented, but I think it's fitting in description as the industry is seen as the main poison - and the ones who push the limits in showing it off

This is a tough one, due to lighting, the dress, and obviously her size. I give it a pass - she'd make a fine gf. I am particularly interested in the reactions on this one
