How do they do it? After watching for the umpteenth time, bored, and decide to look for flaws that certainly have to exist in all films?

there is a website that deals with them. Ahh I see you linked one.
They listed T2 having a mistake in the helicopter scene because T1000 had 3 hands. This is not a mistake! That thing can mold himself into any shape he pleases. He just molded himself another arm and hand. -

In one of the scenes in Rome leading up to a fight, leaflets are being handed out. These didn't exist, event notices were written up on boards.

I caught many mistakes on myself, mostly regarding aviation because i am fan of aviation and most of movie makers tends not to respect it much. Main mistakes regarding aviation:
1.Not the same planes where they should be the same (different airlines/types/etc. planes are used in diferent parts of the same movie. I believe in Home Alone plane when it took off was Boeing 727 and Douglas DC-10 when landed. In Air Force One cockpit of 747-400 was used while outside look was of the real Air Force One (747-200))
2.Impossible things to do when flying (like shooting through windows of supersonic airliner (movie Concorde: Airport'79), refueling a passenger jet in air, etc.)
3.Unrealistic work of pilots and their speeches to the approach (for example in movie "Glass Cockpit" approach says to the plane just airline name and first part of flightnumber, while it should say full flight number and add word "heavy" to the callsign due to size of the plane)
There are many more mistakes to mention...Comment

Someone lent me the Pearl Harbour DVD... all the mistakes made the movie utterly hilarious!
But normally, I don't notice stuff like that.
to those who have the patience to hunt down errors. I'd rather (try to) enjoy the movie.
