Assuming its not just defaulted to 01/01 that is... I was just pondering this with my friend today, that it would suck to have today as a birthday.

Think about it, you stagger home at 4am the night before, wake up at midday with a hangover... "do you want to open your presents now dear/dad/honey?" ... "uuuurgh" ...
And then it's down the pub for a birthday pint, when after new year you've got to the stage where the mere sight of beer makes you ill.

Then again, I expect the night before is even better.
