It's ~4º C in Amsterdam. It's dry right now, but we've been experiencing some light drizzle the last few days.
It was pretty cold ten days ago, but then the wind changed, and the temperature rose.

-27 C when I walked off the night-train this morning. My week at my mothers was in the tropical parts of southern Sweden so I wasn't prepared for it. Oh well not that bad, at least it wasn't blowing.

Yep, It wasn't that bad actually. When I was leaving a week ago it was just -15 but it was blowing as well (not that much mind you but a little wind is bad enough) and that was much worse.

I just checked, it's -22C in here, it's pretty cold yes.
I'm having a Buffy-marathon, so I'm wearing only boxers, so everytime I go for a smoke outside.. well it's freezy! Of course I put my shirt on, but still.. standing there for 3-4 minutes really wakes you up.

Grey, about 5 degrees, a little bit of a wind and light rain every now and then. Nothing unusual for the time of the year, really.

Grey and wet. Bless this island and it's lack of colour.
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.
