  • 2010: "Naughty or Nice Question Leads To Santa-McCarthy Comparisons

By ROGER RABBIT, ACS Forums Writer

With fears concerning loss of individual civil liberties at an all-time high, Santa Claus is now being compared with former American Senator Joseph McCarthy.

"Think about it", blustered Senator Che of Florida, "Making a list and checking it twice ? Going to find out who's naughty and nice?
If that doesn't ring of McCarthyism, I don't know what does."

American Workers advocate, Boris Godonov, had this to say, "It's proposterous, outlandish, and illustrates perfectly why I'm not in the HOF."

When asked how he would rule on the matter, should it come before his bench, Imran Siddiqui brushed off the inquiry, saying "What a great day for baseball. Let's play 2 !", as he turned and jogged to the Supreme Court ballyard.

Internationally, following a bloodless coup in England, newly crowned Rainbow Coalition member, Queen Redfern Jon expressed outrage at the "naughty or nice" historic reference, citing that naughty could be very nice.

The Evil Empire of Ming, RAH, and Michael the Great merely chuckled, saying no matter what American and/or World opinion held, THEY would decide the question of naughty or nice.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.
"Hating America is something best left to Mobius. He is an expert Yank hater.
He also hates Texans and Australians, he does diversify." ~ Braindead

If only they could really decide Supreme Court questions with a game of baseball

Hey Imran, about baseball, what happened to your Susan Sarandon sig? I liked it, and Americans shouldn't be qouted on football
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards
And notifying the next of kin
      Once again...

Maybe I'll put it on again. I switched to this right after the World Cup when the Amis went to the Quarterfinals and should have beaten Germany. American soccer (football, whatever ) has arrived.

Hueij, I picked another quote from that same movie. While I like the 'Church of Baseball' quote a bit better, I like this one as well.

Great Movie, Bull Durham was .

How about deciding games of baseball by decisions of the Supreme Court, with umpires' decisions being ruled unconstitutional?

Or perhaps baseball itself could be ruled cruel and unusual punishment...

Unfortunetly there is nothing in the Constitution saying you can't make bad calls .

                      Imran!!

That quote is about sex! Not about baseball... And that while the movie was about... err...about...

I also liked the movie where Kevin Costner built that baseball field in his cornfield and the ghosts of all those great players came to play...

My evil plans are coming to fruition. But I will probably start changing quotes more often.

Field of Dreams, GREAT movie! I was thinking about a quote from that movie as well. Next time .

What, no one quoted the Chairman of the AECCP?
