Ok, I have to fess up:
Last year I asked for a DVD player for my PC. Well, once all the presents were wrapped and placed under our Xmas tree, I had guessed which package might be the DVD player. I carefully unwrapped it and unpackaged it, and swapped it for my old CD-ROM drive. Rented some DVD vids right after that (secretly, of course).
My wife was never the wiser.
