By all means, do it. My hypersensitive lobby group is too busy watching Will & Grace and ER tonight to do any anal whining.

Look at red_jon...he went from 9 votes last time to 0 this time (not to dredge it up, rj, old bean). Considering the standings, I'd say orange, reismark, DinoDoc, Locutus and DanS were shoo-ins before I am.Tutto nel mondo è burla

Short answer: No.
Long answer: Post count isn't a reliable measure of contributions to the community. On one end, we have Panag, who (IIRC) is at or near Emperor level, yet has done almost nothing. On the other end, there's CivNation.
Basically, I have the same sentiments as Ming. I'd suggest sending all of the HoFers (except MarkG, DanQ, Ming, MtG, Imran, Vel, Xin, Stefu, and Mao) out of the Hall (those thrown out would still be eligible to get back in). I'd also suggest only counting votes from the previous election (also posted that in the other HoF thread), drop the effect date of registration has on the weight one vote is given and allow a minimum waiting period before someone can vote (say, six months after registration).
And if I had got my OTF posts in when they still counted, I'd be an Emperor already.

Maybe have a 1000 post thing. I'd rather had a time requrement though, like 1 to 2 years of being around before people can vote for them."Yay Apoc!!!!!!!" - bipolarbear

i like the idea of the carry over votes, even if they did 'cost' me from being inducted this time. That way if someone jets for a little bit, and then comes back stronger than ever (KrazyHorse, for example) they won't have to 'start over' from scratch in the votes."Chegitz, still angry about the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991?

The list is made up of many of the people that were around when it wasn't as active as it is now... true HOF'ers of this forum... Many of them were here long before there was even a OTF... people that made the Apolyton Forums what they are today.Keep on Civin'

Most newbies don't like hearing about the past though. I've gotten flamed a few times for bringing up NIM."Yay Apoc!!!!!!!" - bipolarbear

Ming - that is unfair. Personally, I would have been here earlier, posting away with the greats if I had known about Apolyton before. I mean, i was here in Feb of 2000, and that's when Provost Harrison joined. I think there many people who joined in 2001, and even 2002 that are very important to the forums - whether on or off topic, and I think that's what the voters should decide.
Just my $.02"Chegitz, still angry about the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991?
