  • How do I unzip files?

    I'm so lost. I am just starting to download things and could use the help.

        You can also get it at www.winzip.com

        It's a good program for unzipping files... I presume you're on a Windows PC?

                  I would recommend the freeware program UltimateZip for any management of compressed files as WinZip isn't completely free as shareware.

                    Zuh? Winzip will just ask you to pay for it, but it never stops working after the "evaluation limit" is up or whatever.

                      Just because it still works doesn't mean it's free (legally). After the evaluation limit expires, it basically becomes warez if you use it.

                      Thanks for the link Rasbelin, my built in XP zip function seems to be less than reliable. Too often files that are there just don't show up.
