If the world would only have 10 countries, which citizenship would you like to have? (please note the names of countries refers to their government, ideology and culture, not to their technology level or nation - we assume that you would belong to the "main nation" in each country, not to the ethnic minorities)

You do realise that out of all of those, it's only 100% legal to be gay in the European Union.
So I'd say the EU or the more liberal parts of the US.

This could be a much better poll if there were good choices. Say, Contemporary America, Victorian England, Renaissance Italy, Golden Age whenever that was of Islam wherever that was, Ming Dynasty China, Shogun Japan, Ashanti West Africa, Incan Empire, Mayan Empire, Gupta India.It is much easier to be critical than to be correct.
