Alan Rickman was the only one that made that movie watchable

Alan Rickman wasn't in Robin Hood: Men in Tights!

And besides it was a good movie beyond that (I love that movie) .

        ---

I'm ashamed at you people! You take a humerous thread and turn it into a political debate?! Stop threadjacking my thread!

I am glad that Arafat won't be allowed to go to Bethlehem. What does Arafat care about Christmas? he doesn't. So why should he be allowed to usurp such a sacred Christian tradition for his own political purposes?
'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"

CG, Why do I get the feeling you've never actually been to Isreal? MY guess is your just another overly politisized left wing European that lacks real world experience. Am I wrong?

Every person I've spoken to that's been to Israel is appauled by how the Arabs are treated there.

Oerdin, what do you mean with real world experience? Whether I ever participated in the occupation of another country? Whether I ever participated in brutal repression of another people?

I happily say no to both counts.

I have never been to Israel. How would a visit change my mind? Are there palestinians trying to get word out about how much they love the Israeli occupation, and only by going there can I hear their story? Are there unknown works of history, impossible to retell outside the green line, that justify Israel?

And finally, I'm not left wing. In europe I'm considered right wing, in the US I don't fit in a category.

I believe law and civilization are societies main virtues. I believe progressive tax is theft. I believe the goverment should have absolutely no say in a persons personal life. I believe global warming is humanitys greatest threat. And I believe that the United States backing of Israel shows what a people can do with sufficient propaganda and bribe money.

Imran, could you give us a little more on this? How are the arabs treated worse in Israel that they are by their own governments?

As most people who live in the "Christian" West don't give a monkeys about the Christian message at Christmas, why are they getting bothered about a muslim pulling a political stunt by wanting to go to Bethlehem.

Then again the Isarelis once again are showing they do not know the 1st thing about PR
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

Typical..."Every person I've spoken to that's been to Israel is appauled by how the Arabs are treated there."

Put the bare facts on the table...thats the reply. Inane to say the least. But then why expect any diff from a obviously biased member of the arab world. Hey Hueuji wake up from your slumber *sshole.....at least in Israel they are allowed live, work and vote!....Doubt that a Jew would even survive their first "Shabbat" in your corrupt, overzealous,war-mongering,savage,repressed,dictatorial states of terror!

Your senseless one-line rhetoric is gonna drown you and your allies in their own spit....

Oh and yes CG is definitely another PC european who needs a reason to find a cause to fight for...real or imagined.

Its always easier to disregard your own filth in the backyard.

Like many of the replies ive noted here....he's spewing typical ignorant, verbal rhetoric they've heard on pro-pal radio, newspapers, media, books.Just because he can no doubt....
