NOT the tallest in the world. Not even close.

Her favourite heels are six and three quarter inches?!? Why the **** would you wear heels if you were that tall. It would be a pain in the ass for her to find proper shoes to fit those clod hoppers of hers and either way... does she really need to look THAT taller.

As I remember, one problem is essentially the "bandwidth" of nerve trunks in the extremities - really tall giants have very poor sensory and motor response in their lower legs, and a bunch of other symptoms (vascular system isn't evolved for pumping blood that far back up to the heart, etc.).

IIRC, he died rather nastily, from an infection (blood poisoning or gangrene or something fun like that was the result) in his foot caused by a badly fitting leg brace rubbing his skin raw.
