    That's a nice map.

Still you haven't copyrighted the name Macedonia on time in the US patent office ,

I think it seems quite fair, the reorter is on the whole depicting the attitudes of the FYROMians.

I don't even think itsthat seriuos an issue, if they want to call their country macedonia and claim that they are the successors to a long lost nation then let them.
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

well a few years ago their constitution was saying that there were "brothers" in neighbour countries and it was their country's duty to "liberate" them. i guess that's harmless too....

Mark, that definitely wasn't a serious article. Nowhere near it.

something tells me some english blokes will now "know" that Alexander the Great was a FYROMian.....

not to mention the use of the term Macedonia instead of the officially recognised name of FYROM....

Ah not just English blokes... most of the world already 'knows' that you should have revised the history while you still could calling him Alexander the Greek ... it is too late to complain now.

Ok who could have guessed that a country will arise that will call themselves Macedonia again... but that's life... or history now too. I guess it would be easier if they were in South America and claiming that they are the descendants of Alexander :

Nah, 'cause none of us know what FYROM is, we just call it Macedonia.

we know that Alexander the Great was from a kingdom that was then called Macedonia.

We know that modern day FYROmac and Greece now occupy the territory of that kingdom.

That does not make Alexander either greek or FYRmac
