Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

            In what way?

Movies are made in california. A great many computer games are made in california, and to a lesser extent the entire west coast (nintendo, microsoft, etc.)

LA is also the center for a few publishing companies, although not as many as NY. Most American shows are also made there.

Not everyone outside of america watches shows made in America (and hence LA). But I guarantee you the number's much higher than those who watch french.

You left out Kyoto, Seoul and Tokyo, and I think New Delhi would have been a better pick for an Indian cultural epicenter. Otherwise a good list though.
              My vote is for Constantinople.

                    And why Atlanta?

Since there isn't a universal, global human culture, there is no correct answer... none of the above!

                          My, I can't believe that

                          LA? Nintendo?? Microsoft???

World's cultural capital is supposed to be the center of CULTURE, I hardly call a city whose biggest cultural achievment is super mario sunshine worthy of such a title

Rome and Paris should be obvious choices
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

as for Atlanta, I'm sure being hot, sweaty, and eating terrible fried food could be considered cultural... plus they have a racist baseball team! Racism is culture, mostly American culture...
