        It's never as easy as it is made out to be to find friends. Just keep pushing on, they will come. Relationships take time to build.

            They always seem very remote for student accommodation, stuck out there in deepest, darkest East Yorkshire Do people run after you with pitchforks calling you 'the enemy', being from Lincolnshire and all?

              Thankfully, no. The residents of Cottingham "village" seem to be a pleasant bunch, all in all. Aside from their insistence that their suburb is infact a village.

                Yes, it is a suburb. It is the fault of snobs like them in the 'adjoining areas' that Hull isn't classed as a larger city, because they won't have anything to do with us. They should be grateful, at least it's not Sheffield

                  I just amazes me at the sheer number of suburbs that consider themselves villages. Cottingham, Willerby, Kirk Ella, Anlaby...need I go on?

                    Yes, apparently all those suburbs joined together in themselves comprise a population of over 200 000 people!!! That makes those suburbs almost twice the size of York

                            I have to admit that I do base my self-esteem on getting laid. Fortunately I get so much sex that I'm starting to wonder if it's possible for my tackle to get mildew. It just never has chance to dry off.

                                Oh it's fab. I think things are actually starting to warp. The days of using "Ron Jnr" as a makeshift spirit level are sadly gone.
