Geez there are so many. They mostly come from cool movies though.
    Tim Allen in "Galaxy Quest".
Chris Kattan and Will Ferrel in "A Night at the Roxbury".
Dan Ackroyd and Jon Belushi in "Blues Brothers"
"There's no end to the possibilities!" - Jim Carey, "Cable Guy"
Liberty or death, what we so proudly hail. Once you provoke her, rattling of her tail.
Never begins it, never, but once engaged. Never surrenders, showing the fangs of rage.
    -Metallica, 'Don't Tread On Me'

For coolest actor now, I have to go with Brad Pitt (from the list), though there are a large number not on the list who I really like. Val Kilmer comes to mind as probably the lead contender to Pitt. I also like Edward Norton and Jude Law. These are all young guys currently carrying lead roles, there are so many who could be on the list currently and from the past. I like Gary Oldham, even though he usually is in supporting roles, they are all memorable even so.

There is also a list of people I don't think deserve to be on the list. Harrison Ford is on my A list of exraordinarily overrated actors / personalities. Tom Cruise and Kevin Bacon likewise I don't give a rip about (though Bacon has reinvented himself recently as a decent villain). Michael Douglas sold out many years ago. The common denominator in his work is money.

One of the greatest performances of all time!

But I have to interject somewhere that all of you are too young to remember the original cool actors. James Dean!.

And don't you remember Marlin Brando! Yes, now he is a blubbering old fool but he was bigger than life.

Brando as the Godfather! Doesn't get much better than that.

Turner and Hooch was a good movie.

Big british guy about 6 foot six. Did a good Jame Earl Jones impression as well.

Peter Mayhew was Chewbaca so it was the other big Brit that was Vader.

                              David Prowse.

"Never mind the hemeroids full speed ahead." on set line by David.

Ironic how -- because Turner began her career as a teenager? Because I was thinking of her femme fatale, older roles.

Btw, I really liked Lauren Bacall, another really cool teenager, but from the 1940s.
Bacall I'll buy, at any age. With husband Bogie they are clearly the coolest couple of all time.
