Boris, I've heard that one too. That's a great story.
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed. But they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love. They had 500 years of democracy and peace. And what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."

Also John Goodman was a good actor (He might still be, but it's been a while, since he has been in a good movie)...

      *cough*

      O'Brother Where Are Thou?
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Brad Pitt didn't play in True Romance.

True Romance had the following big name actors/actresses in it

        Patricia Arquette (heroine)
        Christian Slater (hero)
        Dennis Hopper (hero's father)
Christopher Walken (drug lord type guy)
        Val Kilmer (elvis)
and that guy that played Balkie on perfect strangers (work with that big movie producer guy)
and the guy that worked for the drug lord type guy, and a few of the cops. i don't remember any of their names, but they're the kind of actors that you'd recognize if you saw them. Brad Pitt is not one of them.

Dude, honestly, shut up, cause I have no control on the number of choices, and I already said which I would take off, so stop being childish

And just so you don't have to go through it all, here you go: John Travolta, Nicholas Cage, John Cleese, Mike Myers, Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, Billy Chrystal, Ben and Jerry Stiller, Ben Affleck, Samuel L Jackson, Rob Lowe, All three Sheens/Estevezes, Sean Penn, Will Ferrell, Jason Lee, Chris Rock, the Baldwins, Patrick Swayze, 80's teen movie actors, 90's Shakespeare movies, and every actor in every superhero movie ever
Okay, if I have to just pick one I'll have to go with the one that uttered this famous line:

"My fellow Americans, I am pleased to tell you I just signed legislation which outlaws Russia forever. The bombing begins in five minutes."

Laurence Olivier asked him between takes what the problem was. When Hoffman explained, Olivier frowned and said, "That's very nice, my boy. Next time, why don't you try acting?"
a very well known quote indeed!

Bridges and Goodman in The Big Lebowski are the coolest pair of actors EVER!!

though of course nicholson, pacino and deniro have a natural cool, but the coolest...not sure!

                    Save one for the Gipper

Besides Ronnie, I'd have to go with Jack Nicholson, Gene Hackman, Robert DeNiro and Tom Hanks.

If we include deceased actors, well there's never been anyone cooler than John Wayne. Not even close.

No one has mentioned Clint Eastwood. All of his spaghetti westerns are classics.

Yeah I mentioned him. The Outlaw Josey Wales. Loved to see him spit. Crowe probably got his rubbing the dirt from Eastwood's spitting example.

Did you forget about Steve McQueen? How could you?

Then again, there's always Humphrey Bogart.
"I say shoot'em all and let God sort it out in the end!

James Cagney and Edward G. Robinson.

My number two pick would be the great Spencer Tracey.
