I think a general rule of thumb should now be to keep the Germans laughing. We all know what happens when the laughter stops in Germany...

Which American state is bigger, the Bible Belt or Silicon Valley?

I hope not. Once you guys get yourself geared up for war, you seem to have some trouble putting the brakes on...

Totally different situation, as now we're talking about America, which is vastly more important.

Yeah, but don´t worry, our last desert campaign wasn´t such a big success, so we will do only peacekeeping this time...

Bah, it's a serious question. A friend of mine says that Silicon Valley is bigger, but I'm sure it's not. He also says - get this - Beverly Hills isn't a state, and that Amish country is more northerly than the Eastern Seaboard.

It's not. The Bible Belt extends through several Southern states, while Silicon Valley is pretty much relegated to southern California.

Well, it's certainly a state of mind...

It is. It's also more southerly, though.

                          Ok, technical a**holes.

When I was speaking of the 51st state of the United States, I should have used England.

                          Feel better now?

Snooze. Hasn't this been done already?

And they've got the conclusions bass-ackwards; Canadians laughed less then Germans because our standards are higher...

Oh paiktis, my wannabe Macedonian Slav, you're so cute when you try to insult Canada.

Unlike you, we're able to put up a real resistance (and win) when a country ten times our size attacks us...

It's seriously true about the higher standards thing, though.

Stuff that would be a riot in places like Germany will result in people from Canada going "That was supposed to be a joke?", at which point we would laugh. Just at you, not the joke.
