Weird as in the fact that 90 posts have been created in this thread?
Weird as in how many different possible thread-jack topics have appeared on a thread about combs?
Or all three combined?A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

Birth control isn't the problem really. I'd be more worried about STDs. And you're not even married to the girl, I'd hope this is at least a very long term relationship?
Suit yourself, myself I'll live with it and have a longer life.I don’t believe in living my life in fear, but rather enjoying it to the fullest. I do take precautions when I deem it necessary, but then there are always risks in life no matter how careful you are.
Yes, but the point is... do you wash them out and reuse them? Because if you don't, you're guilty of the same 'throwaway lifestyle' as me, except you draw the line at a different point.
I guess the soap you use to wash the comb out magically disappears when it goes down your drain... or did you never consider what effect that has on the environment?
Actually I don’t generally use soap at all really – no need to unless I’m really dirty from say working on my car or what have you. Maybe that’s why I don’t have spots!
For that matter, if you're so concerned about the environment, why wash your hair at all? Do you eat meat? Use batteries? Drive a car? All of those things impact the environment a lot more than disposing of about 1/4 oz. of plastic comb monthly does.), I don’t each much meat – mostly chicken and fish (usually raw fish!), yes I do use batteries but they’re rechargeables!
I currently don’t own a car and walk to work – almost everywhere actually.
So all your examples are basically lost on me!
All I’m saying is that unecessary waste should not be created and the necessary waste that is created should be lessened as much as is comfortably possible. That is why I condemn your use of a disposable comb – not that it is waste, but that it unecessary waste!
Bottom line is... the time it takes to clean a $1.00 comb would be better spent on other things for a lot of us. And the resources used to clean it (hot water, soap, electricity) have an impact on the environment, too.
This has gotten quite silly Lovin' it.Just as long as you stop to think of the environmental impact of all those millions of people worldwide tossing their $1 disposable combs into the trash every month!
Or the fact that that’s a $12 dollar a year comb habit you’ve got there!

As for my $12/year comb habit... it pales next to my other, more interesting and less hygienic, habits"I'm a guy - I take everything seriously except other people's emotions"

you just put the crap back in your hair??
More seriously, I always wash my hair before combing them (each day that God makes). And I've no problems of dandruffes (?? meaning : small parts of skins into hairs ??). So my comb is getting dirty very slowly. I just use water after use.Zobo Ze Warrior

My bad habits: alcohol, girls, cigars, procrastination, cynicism, plays on words, short selling, troll feeding, endlessly searching for shortcuts. In no particular order"I'm a guy - I take everything seriously except other people's emotions"
