Thanks guys. I get a lot of that, although peculiar is a new one. Usually people say "interesting" and then slowly start backing away from me, that is, when they are being polite. Otherwise they get downright rude, get in my face and ask me what my problem is or accuse me of being on drugs.
People get pretty touchy about them sometimes, even though the majority of them are not violently strange.
