I do confess to having run a very short-lived internet bookstore. Basically what happened was I worked at a bookstore that threw large numbers of books away, and instead of throwing them away, I salvaged them and sold them online. I made a few hundred bucks out of the whole deal actually.

I know, it seems all very capitalist of me, but it was only to pay the bills for a few months in hopes of one day defeating the capitalists. (I'm a pragmatic commie like that).
