Too bad some of you aren't in the Yahoo league. You could go up against a real opponent. Me. My team will smash any team it faces.

My supebowl predictions: Philadelphia Eagles vs. New England Patriots.

my preseason prediction was New England Patriots vs. San Fransisco. But that team still has problems. Granted they were sick last sunday, but I'm still worried about them. Terrell Owens is a punk just like Randy Moss. And their running game still has questions unanswered.

Good thing I played you in the first head-to-head...although my team did score .50 more points than your team this weekend, heeheehee =)

yeah I'm wondering if I should give up on Keyshon Johnson and Isaac Bruce. Decisions, decisions

hey I figured out how to double post. It was an accident of course.

and I was stuck without Couch week 1 and 2. Injuries. Now I have to deal with numerous bye weeks this week.

Yea, I have the same about Randy Moss and Michael Bennett.
Bennett did make a TD last match, and I may need him with Troy Brown being DTD...:argh:

Actually, this weekend you were a little luck the Raiders had a bye week.

We would have been a lot closer.

            Anybody want Priest Holmes?

              Priest Holmes?

I think I have room for him on my roster.

You ever see something so hilarious you have to share it with the world?

                The News
Randy Moss was arrested on Tuesday after his car hit a police officer. The female officer was unharmed, but was knocked to the ground. A witness told WCCO-TV, "The traffic lady was resting upon the car. As the car was moving she was walking, you know, like she was trying to slow it down or something. Then he tried to speed up a little bit or whatever, and she fell. And she almost fell up under the car. And then he stopped. And then she got up off the ground, and she called. And the quickest thing I ever seen was those cops turn the corner. They were here on the spot."
                Our View
The implications of this story range from nothing to severe. If the police see it as a mistake, Moss will likely have no consequences. Alternately, if the police view it as an intentional act, Moss could be in serious trouble. The wheels of justice turn very slowly, so it is unlikely that this incident will keep Moss off the field at any point this year.

ESPN was all over the story. Sports Center today was almost as funny as SNL (hmmm, that's not saying much) as they covered the Moss arrest. Unbelievable.

                      His career is toast.

anybody else would be locked up for 10 years.

I suppose since he's famous he'll get a slap on the wrist.

But seriously... Moss will probably not miss a game this season unless the owners of the Vikings suspend him.
The wheels of justice move very slowly. He will go in front of a judge today to hear the formal charges. After that, any trial will not be finished until after the season is over... unless Moss has very stupid lawyers

Moss usually takes half the season off, I would never want that guy on a fantasy or real team, I have no use for guys that play when they feel like it.

By the way, what do I care if Moss assaulted a cop with his 2002 Lexus? It wouldn't matter if it was a 2001 Lexus, a 1999 Lexus, or a VW Beetle...

Or does the 2002 Lexus have some special cop-assaulting abilities?

Also, Al Davis' lawsuit is back in business because one juror was overheard saying he hated the Raiders and Al Davis - trial is set to begin around the end of the year.

I don't understsand the whole moving out of LA and then suing - but I'd like to know your thoughts on whether the Raiders sitll have the rights to the LA area.
