Somebody asks an Analysis question and you're surprised we start talking about Analysis?

I'm not surprised, but c'mon: It's Calc, not Analysis, as witnessed by the fact that I learned the answer in Calc, not Analysis (which I don't think I've ever taken). 'Course, apparently either one's lost on Sava...

Well, maybe, but the point is that it's answered with limits and sums of infinite series, not Cauchy Smegma or Triangular Fellatio or whatever it is that's fried my (alcohol weakened) brain...

The limits are all evaluated crappily, though...and the way the stuff is done is easily abstractable to general cases if you do it rigorously.

I can't remember who said it, but it's often true that in mathematics it's often easier to prove more than you need to...

              Triangular Fellatio

              Mmmm....triangular fellatio.

                I wonder how that works.

I believe that it requires that one be endowed with multiple manhoods. (I forget the medical term for said condition...)

Why do you need Omega consistency?

As you can see, you still need an algorithm to add two strings together and produce the answer string. In a FINITE number of steps.
                    - - -
Of course, you can say PI instead of 3.141592..., or 1/3 instead of 0.33333333.... .
But this tread is on dealing with the consistency of the .99999999... representation.
So long for your omega consistency, and infinite series of teorems.
