I'm surprised more aren't secular humanists above all esle. I am agnostic, not atheist, but they seem to lump them all in together with the "not sure" options

I'm wondering whether persons who got UU answered to questions something other than "Not applicable" to questions like "Environmental protection is important".
"Spirit merges with matter to sanctify the universe. Matter transcends to return to spirit. The interchangeability of matter and spirit means the starlit magic of the outermost life of our universe becomes the soul-light magic of the innermost life of our self." - Dennis Kucinich, candidate for the U. S. presidency

I checked, answering "not applicable" to everything (except on the first page, where I chose "not sure"), and UU came out on top (with non-theism and secular humanism both at 96%). I tried again, this time answering "none of the above" for everything on the first page (in other words, choosing the bottom choice in all cases), and I got:

                  1. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (100%)
                  2. Bahá'í Faith (81%)

                  9. Secular Humanism (56%)
                  10. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (54%)

From what I can tell from the results, UU's must be the ultimate fence-sitters.

Okay, maybe you can clear something up for me. I don't see how somebody can say that they don't believe in god(s) but aren't an atheist. I mean, "theist" means "somebody who believes in god(s)," so "atheist" must mean "somebody who does not believe in god(s)," so the two terms ought to cover everybody. A lot of agnostics say "Well I'm not an atheist, because I 'doubt' the existence of god(s), unlike the atheists who 'don't believe' in the existence of god(s)," or something along those lines. But isn't doubt the opposite of belief? Are they saying that they don't believe in the existence of god(s) but that it makes them uncomfortable to say so, or what? Or that they believe in god(s) every other day, and the rest of the time they don't? Could you explain the difference between "not believing" in god(s) and "doubting" god(s)? Because they certainly seem like the exact same thing to me...

Seems pretty ok. Now just find out what quakers and mainline liberal protestants exactly are...

Edit: after reading a few explanations I must conclude the test isn't quite good. I cannot find myself at all in the three first faiths as I'm not a christian.

Edit2: Secular Humanism and Taoism (both 83%) represent very well what I believe though! Great book indeed btw, Capra's Tao of Physics!

Close enough, I guess. Nice to see the first 7 are all Christian denominations. Somewhat surprised to see Quaker as top, but reading the description it's not too far off. As for "Mainline to Liberal", I'd like that reworded to "Liberal to just-plain-wrong Christian", from the description...

Oh - and the Christian calendar, being based on the Jewish one, should have Sunday as the first day.
