Looks very promising. It's actually my original suggestion, except for the CD-RW drive and the sound card. Yes, Plextor's products do have a high-quality. I myself have a Plextor Plexwriter 24/10/40A and I like it pretty much. So far all discs have always succeeded, so I haven't had any trouble.Originally posted by Pekka

I have cd-r already, but it's very bad quality and it's slowly dying, and I've heard only good things about plextor plexwriter. What do you think about this set?

Heh.. let's just say that it seemed like a very nice system to have. But again I have to do more research when that time comes and I have money. Now I'll wait for a bit and order these tonight if I feel good about this.

Well, the Hercules sound card saved you about 100 € compared to an Creative SoundBlaster Extigy or Audigy Platinum with digital outputs and FireWire. And now you also get a good case for abit cheaper. So I always shop around myself too before I order, because there's always good products for abit cheaper prices available. BTW, MBnet Hintaseuranta is one good tool too.
