Do you think something will happen?

Other than politicians spouting all sorts of drivel? No.

I think that day will set a record for "most TV specials remembering a single event in a 24-hour period."

It wouldn't surprise me in the least, either way.
Actually, the 11th makes more since than the 4th of July.

I hope not...I'm flying across the country on the 12th.

I don't think something will happen either.

That'd be pushing the envelop too far (even for terrorists).

Nothing will happen. Everyone will be on to high alert for the terrorists to even think of doing something (i hope).

I predict lotsa ceremonies for me to go through here at NTTC. Ugh.
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

I predict I will go to work and do my best not to be distracted by the endless stream of over-the-top sentimentality that will be running in the media non-stop, ad infinitum...

I predict a nationwide shortage of sugar and other saccharine products.
That and a lot of ER patients complaining either overexcitement or dislocated eyes.
