I just sing in the shower. It makes me sound good, what with the small-room giving me power and the white noise of water crashing around me smoothing out the rough edges...

I haven't really tried singing in years, probably before puberty. I know I could never hit the high notes but that never concerned me, and I doubt that's changed now.

As you can see I'm majoring in Psychology and I'll either minor in Sociology or double major in it. Still debating on becoming a criminal profiler or a mediator in the law field.

I'm not very happy to hear that . If you suspect a real problem, it might be worthwile to make a logopedic therapy. That's mainly to show you how to speak (and perhaps sing) technically correct and in a voice that is really yours. Hint: If you feel your voice tires very quickly when you talk for a longer time (not when giving a presentation because then you'll be otherwise under psychic stress), and your voice apparatus starts aching, then there might be a technical problem. But I'm not a specialist myself in this topic. Many people unknowingly do technically bad things to their voice, and are used to do so from childhood. Nothing to be ashamed of. Please try to make peace with your voice. By proper training (and several years patience in working), a lot is possible, even if the situation of the voice is "hopeless but not serious".

Sorry for being off-topic but I'm still not sure if this deserves an own thread ...
Why doing it the easy way if it is possible to do it complicated?

Having Britney singing in the shower on stage may be a good idea in that case.

I suck at singing too. Then again I also suck at musical instruments. Oh well

Anyway, my schedule changed, now I'm taking:
                  International Relations
                  Comparative Politics
                  Language, Cryptology, and National Security
                  US Since 1941
                  Business German
                  Judo

I figured I might as well take that Judo class because UT charges a flat rate tuition for liberal arts students (and natural sciences), and it'd be an easy A. I already know all the basic Judo stuff, and I've worked out with the UT Judo club, so this oughta be a snap

Next semester, Beginning Karate/Self Defense for me!
