I'm 41, and haven't succommed yet.

At 11 years I got a paper route, and I mowed lawns, helped people move, cleaned apartments, babysat etc., but my first official job I got at 17 years old.

5 years old.

6) Learned to swim.

I taught myself to swim at age 5.

7) Bought your first share of stock.

Through my 401k at about age 30.

8) Opened your first credit card account.

27 years old.

4 years old.

Not yet, and it doesn't look too good anytime soon.

#2 and i have talked about it. prolly not until both of us are >25. meaning, not until 6mos exactly after my 25th birthday, when she turns 25.

8th grade-- dated a girl for about a year but had no clue what I was doing-- the same girl relieved me of my virginity a few years later in part II of our relationship

-- age 25-- I got a Mazda 323 when I graduated law school -- nobody ever gave me a car although my parents did "lend" me their car for a summer when I was 23 (had to share it with my sister though)

16-- worked at the fish plant as a labourer-- making more than minimum wage felt great

3) Parents gave me a car at 18. First bought my own at 21.

4) 16, unless you count babysitting at 13.

7) Don't remember exactly; probably 24 give or take a year.

8) 20. Sears was handing them out to all the college seniors.

9) 16. I thought I was really slow in that regard; surprised to see so many in the same ballpark.

10) 23. Kind of ironic; the only things on the list I regret doing are this and buying stock, and I was older when I did those than any of the others. How come I didn't know better?
