End of September doesn't seem bad for me.

Activities.. I'm up for pretty much anything. Seeing as how David's involved I guess that means we're down to anything involving alcohol.

Well, I'm not sure how long the auction will last, but that's only on Saturday. The rest of the book sale (The Monster Book Sale it's called, and they say over 60,000 on sale) starts Friday and runs through Sunday night.
Best finds will be earlier, of course, but Friday is only open to members of the Friends of the Austin Public Library group. You'll have to buy a memebership at the door to get in if you're not already.

End of September is fine. Don't really care what the activity is, although "sporty stuff" isn't my preference. I'll have to check around and see what's going on around then.

As for the meet. Selfbiased works on Saturday's from 11-8. If it's far enough in advance he can usually ask off if he thinks it's something worthwhile. Doubt it, but I'll let him know.

Why don't we just do this instead of trying to get people together on a 2 week notice. By that time Connor will probably be able to go and since meeting him was the purpose of the meet in the first place it might be nice to actually get to do that.

Since Lefty has graciously offered his abode and cuisine.....would this not be the perfect opportunity to get together. A full day of gaming and swiming and food.......sounds like a winner to me

That should solve the problem of getting outdoors. People can choose if they want to be outdoors or not.
