Not really. It makes for good copy on the news. I'd have to check the stats but I don't think that there has been any sort of material increase in the commission of this sort of crime.I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara

1) skynews reports are actually very good and they very informative. the problem is that they want to be like the televized Sun all too much.
2) I really really hate people who abuse defenseless children or women. If there's one good reason to have Capital Punishment - that would be it.
Either that or leave them with the parents in a basement with all the tools the parents want.Comment

I must say that I agree with JohnIII.
While this is obviously a horrific story and the public cares alot, there's no reason for it to be covered 24-7. I swear, 50 out of 60 minutes in each hour for the last 48 hours, on skynews, were devoted to them girls.
Not that I don't think they don't deserve it - heck, if they could be found well and alive it would be the best thing, but how about giving the people involved a rest?Comment
