I did a yellow pages map search to find out which square was adjacent to Strandvägen. Quite obvious once you see the name...

Hmm, there's something decidedly non-euclidian about those cyclopean blocks. It brings into mind gibbous visions of the cold, uncaring cosmos. A cosmos where slithering, squamous things dwell in their blasphemous abodes.

For those of us without access to the Stockholm yellow pages - what is it?
What's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding?

This is what the plaque is for. Maybe it'll all make sense if I know what I'm looking at?

That said, if I didn't know this was done by socialists and posted by you (in presuming contempt), I'd have to guess something geological. "Authentic Swedeozoic rocks, back when modern Sweden took up all of Pangaea, placed here for your benefit today?"

Therefore this is not a syllogism.

The central piece is two slabs grinding into each other. So, it's probably either fornication or glacial flow, and some of the pieces look vaguely human.

Socialist??? I thought this was commissioned by the right-wing local government to comemorate a member of one of Sweden's richest families...

I think it's awful. One of the least visually appealing public monuments like, ever. No sense of colour or proportion, lack of drama, quite definate ugliness. Right when it was put up some idiot spraypainted fields of silver paint on them, and it actually made the monument better. Astounding.
