      I would agree that asher seemed to be boasting when he stressed the "paid cash" and fully loaded attributes but I don't find it strange at all that a youth would identify more strongly with their parents accomplishments/ assets than their own.

      That said , I thought you were out of line for criticizing an 18 year old for making the very sensible decision to remain at home for a few years for economic reasons.

        • I drive a '86 Ford Laser.

          And I still live at home despite going to uni. Why would I force myself to have a more expensive lifestyle right at the time I am least able to afford it?
          I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).
