Awwww, chin up, Dan. It's not that bad.

      It's just that it's a useless procedure.

Aww, looks like Horse is still angry about his foreskin being cut off. Got to pass on the damage, after all, even if it means having your own sons mutilated.

Fear not, Horse! You still have hope!

I would say no because if it ain't broken don't **** with it. And the chances for defects are high. A good friend of mine has a defect that he wouldn't have gotten had he not gotten the unkindest cut.

I'm not sure if they still use this, but back in the day when my friend got cut they used a heated needle thing, hot knife through butter thing. Well anyway the doctor must have been drunk, and well his pee hole isn't just out the tip its up too, about 2 1/2 times as big as it should be. The doctor like, missed, or something and burned a larger pee hole into his penis. I'm not sure if affects his pissing but man, is having no foreskin worth having an XXL pee hole?

Also this is the 3rd circumcision thread I can remember, just some OT facts

On a related note, I took a sociology class where they explained the idea behind male and female circumcision. Basically it came down to that circumcision was suppose to do away with the part that most resembled the opposite organ. So the male foreskin most resembles the vagina and the clitoris most resembles a penis, thus they should both be removed. Thus being the most superficial explanation as to why circumcision is done. Which brings up an interesting point, if you had a little girl, would your husband ask that she be circumcised as well (the practice is about as common in middle eastern countries)?

My brother whose 4 years older then me was circumcised for medical reason, saying that it would prevent infection. When he got an infection anyway, my parents decided not to do the same to myself.

                    • I had it done in my 20's for medical reasons. It hurt for about 4-6 weeks. There has been no noticebale difference to my sex life.
However if it was done to me when i was a kid for non medical reasons i would have been pissed off, its assault and shouldn't be allowed

So see? If he want's it to be HIS choice, later when he's older, then no problem. No big deal about waiting. Leave the choice to him. Power to the foreskinned!

I would add i didn't want it done, i didn't have much of a choice, it just wasn't as bad as i thought- although i did have a seizure due to the anasthetic.
Another reason not to have it really, surgery does have its risks.

                          • Here in Portugal hardly ANYONE is circumsized. I've been swimming for years and in the locker rooms no one was circumcized.

As for your children, maybe one day when the US catches the non-circumcized fashion along the western world, they weill be glad they weren't butchered.
