I tried not to include empires that were fairly short-lived.
I did include the Holy Roman Empire for a bit of Germanic representation though.

Face the fact that the essense of the troll is that the empire's that were left out were left to make people argue "why has my country's empire been left out?"

who would vote for the soviet Union? Come on. What good would that do? Now the Roman Empire, if they cam back that would be interesting... In WWIII their Legionaries would get their asses handed to them by modern warfare, but in WWIV, they would dominate the world!
