That's part of my point, these guys are not getting out of jail so the risk to these women is minimized. Heck most of them don't ever have to sleep with them. In most of the examples, these women moved to the US to be closer to their man. HOW CONVENIENT. It's a lot easier to get US citizenship through marriage then any other way.

I agree with you that their loathing for the death penalty is just a front since they know they can't influence it. That would explain the serial killers wives. They're sure their hubbies will never see the light of day again. Perfect for them.

It's the perfect scam. These women may not be as crazy as you think. And I for one don't mind seeing the convicts get scammed over the internet, since it's usually the other way around.

Sorry, I looked and found no source that gave a simple summary. But reading the sites that I did, it's not even close, the US is by far the leader. (and this only counted legal aliens) The estimates for illegal aliens were unbelievable. The world does vote with it's feet.

The only problem with that theory is that there's no need for any Western European with an education to go the marriage way - you can live in the US anyway if you get a job (which is easy to both get and motivate if you have a degree) and after a couple of years you can become a citizen should you wish so.

As for the unskilled, uneducated ones, they'd have to be mad to leave the welfare states of Europe to try out their chances in the US, unless that chance just so happens to be mister $. Can't see that coming from a death row inmate, though.

Not as easy as you think, (as I was reading through the regs looking for statistics.) Marriage is much much easier and quicker. And from a money aspect, the women stand to inherit the rights to their husbands stories. Could be lucrative, you never know.

I guess this just sounds so weird that a women would be attracted to marry a mass murderer without some type of alterior motive. If it's up and up, the only alternative is that these women are really crazy.
