Scandinavians nationalistic? Compared to, say, Greeks?

      No way.

And people, please don't show your ignorance (well, Ignorance, you might be an exception) discussing Finland when talking about Scandinavia. Finland isn't a Scandinavian country. And this isn't the "I know my geography like a Yank" thread.

                ROFL!

A Greek posting a thread asking if Scandinavians are nationalistic?

That's like the Pope posting to inquire whether Mardi Gras isn't a bit too morally conservative.

Sorry for bringing the Pope into this Stefu.

Yes, most Finns are nationalistic... I wouldn't really call myself nationalistic - I'm really an evil globalist ( ) but I do love the Finnish culture. I think I should call myself a Finnish culturalist, then.

It doesn't make you exempt. You choose to live there. And New York isn't as humid when compared to Houston.

I've never been to Finland but I have been told that by and large Fins tend to be anti-social and try not to speak to anyone unless they have to. That's very different from most other countries.

IMO scandinavians are as nationalistic as every other country, they just tend to hide it better.

This is my personal experience as well, although I'll admit I've only talked to Finns on few occasions.
