      At bad joke telling?

Most civilized countries are beyond simple joke-telling comedy.

          He mean Jim Carrey.

Incidentally, his best two movies were both serious (ish). Go figure.

Is that why Seinfeld and Friends were so popular in America?

              Jim Carrey is decent...
I'm thinking more along the lines of Mike Myers, John Candy, David Foley, Eugene Levy (acquired taste maybe ), Martin Short, Dave Thomas, Leslie Nielson, etc

It wasn't a contradictory question, but a complimentary enquiry.

John Candy? Leslie Nielson? No wonder no-one wants to invade Canada.

Tom Green is the #1 reason no one wants to invade Canada.

And we like it that way.

                            I'm...warning...you...

Okay, Leslie Nielson, you can get away with it. But you DARE besmirch the late great John Candy? That's appalling. What are you, French?

Is it true that John Candy is dead?

Leslie N is a bit weird, but still fun.

John Candy died like 8-9 years ago.
